Request AppointmentWhy Technology Matters
We believe that comprehensive eye care goes beyond simply correcting vision, and our technology helps us achieve this. Our reliable tools help us get a thorough understanding of your ocular health so we can diagnose and treat the underlying causes of eye conditions accurately and effectively. This means you can receive proactive care that helps protect your long-term eye health.
Request AppointmentOur Technology
We use a range of tools and equipment to enhance your eye care experience. With a comprehensive approach, we’re able to effectively detect and manage a wide array of eye conditions. This helps us develop personalized care plans to meet your specific needs.
EIDON Widefield Camera
The EIDON widefield camera by iCare is an imaging tool that captures a wide-angle picture of the back of your eye (retina). By taking multiple images and stitching them together, it creates a comprehensive view of your retina, assisting us with the early detection of eye conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
AngioVue OCT
This tool combines 2 technologies, optical coherence tomography (OCT) and angiography, to produce detailed, cross-sectional images of your retina. OCT provides a clear picture of the retinal layers, while angiography highlights the blood vessels. This combined information helps us diagnose and monitor conditions like diabetic retinopathy and macular edema.
Corneal Topography
Corneal topography uses special mapping techniques to create a precise 3D image of the front surface of your eye (cornea). By analyzing the curvature and shape of your cornea, we can accurately diagnose eye conditions like myopia and provide a precise fitting for contact lenses.
Meibography
Meibography uses heat-sensitive technology to capture images of your meibomian glands located along the edge of your eyelids. By analyzing the size, shape, and function of these glands, we can identify potential causes of dry eye disease. With this information, we’re able to provide a treatment plan targeting the underlying cause of your dry eye symptoms.
Octopus Visual Field Analyzer
The Octopus visual field analyzer measures your peripheral vision by projecting a series of light stimuli at different points within your field of view. You respond by indicating whether you see the lights. By analyzing your responses, we can create a map of your visual field and identify any areas of vision loss or impairment.
